Hello friends!
Hope you are doing good
Today I’m sharing something from my personal experience. It might help some of you—especially if you are in India and thinking to start your online store or blog.
Few months back, I also wanted to make a small online shop. Just to sell some digital files and write a few blogs. But honestly, I had no idea how to do it.
I didn’t know which theme is good. I was also scared of all this tech stuff.
But then I found a theme called Ecomus, and it changed everything for me. So I thought—let me write about it. Maybe it will help someone just like me
What Is Ecomus?
Ecomus is a paid WordPress theme that is specially made for WooCommerce stores.
WooCommerce is a free plugin in WordPress that turns your normal site into an online shop.
With Ecomus, you can sell:
- Sarees, kurtis, ethnic wear
- Gadgets and mobile items
- Handmade things or beauty products
- Yoga classes, ebooks, or digital files
- Toys and gift items
You get 70+ demo designs. You just click one, and your site is ready. After that, you can change your pictures, texts, colours—everything.
No need to write any code. That’s the best part.
Why I Liked Ecomus (For Indians)
I’m not a tech person. Just a normal girl from India who wanted to sell some files online and write a blog also.
I didn’t take any help from developer or anyone. Still, I was able to make my site live in just 2 days!
Let me tell you why I liked this theme
Works Good on Mobile
As we all know, in our country, most people use mobile phones. Some are using slow internet also.
Still, this theme loads fast. Even when I tested on 4G or shared hosting, it worked smooth. No hanging, no delay.
All Shop Features Already There
I didn’t have to install many extra things. The theme already had:
- Product page
- Add to cart and checkout
- GST tag option
- Wishlist
- Quick view
- Price filters
It was all ready. Just had to edit and start.
No Coding, Only Drag & Drop
Ecomus works with Elementor and WPBakery. Both are drag and drop tools.
Like we make slides in PowerPoint, same way we can make pages here. Very beginner friendly.
Good for SEO and AdSense
I also wanted to earn a little from blogging. So I used this theme for blog + shop.
It supports Google AdSense. And it also helps your pages come in Google search—for Indian keywords like:
- “top 5 toys under ₹1000”
- “buy online sarees India”
Indian Design Style
This is something I loved most. The design looks very Indian. Bright colours, big banners, offer blocks for festivals.
It even had ready templates for Diwali sale, Holi offer, etc.
Supports Indian Languages
This theme works well with plugins like WPML, TranslatePress, etc. So if you want to make your site in any Indian language—Bengali, Tamil, Urdu—you can do it easily.
Features That Helped Me
Here are some things I used and really liked.
70+ Demo Sites
You don’t need to build from scratch. Just select demo and import.
Demos are available for:
- Sarees and kurtis
- Yoga or fitness
- Kids toys
- Digital products
- Gadget shops
Looks like real website in one click.
Ready-Made Blocks
I used many built-in blocks like:
- Product grids
- Testimonials
- Pop-up banners
- Blog section
- Email subscribe form
All can be changed using Elementor or WPBakery.
Fast Speed Even on Basic Hosting
I didn’t buy any premium hosting. Still the site worked fast.
Ecomus uses:
- Lazy load
- Minified CSS and JS
- Works with cache plugins like WP Rocket
My PageSpeed score was above 90
Full WooCommerce Features
I liked these tools already inside:
- Colour and size selection
- Wishlist
- Quick view popup
- Indian ₹ currency support
- Trust labels like “GST Invoice”
These small things make your store look professional.
Blogging + Affiliate Ads
I also wrote some blogs about parenting and product reviews.
Theme layout is very clean. You can easily add AdSense ads or affiliate links. There are good ad spaces in between blog.
Mobile Friendly Design
No need to worry about mobile. Every section looks perfect.
Buttons are big enough. Pages don’t cut off. Smooth experience for phone users.
Ready Tools for Festival Offers
This is perfect for Indian sellers. There are options to create:
- Countdown timers
- Flash sale blocks

I made one page for Diwali sale using this—it looked so nice
